Trailer Parking


All Teams Must Complete the Stotesbury Trailer Form by Friday, May 13 by clicking HERE.

 

TRAILER PARKING IS PERMITTED AT ONLY TWO LOCATIONS:

PRIMARY: Athletes Village (Three Spirits/Angels)

SECONDARY (with Permission Only): Gillin Lot (Between Gillin (SJU/SJP) and East Park Canoe House

NO TRAILERS MAY PARK ON KELLY DRIVE AT ANY POINT DURING THE REGATTA (INCLUDING THURSDAY)

No trailers may arrive to either location prior to 12:00 noon on Thursday.  Any trailer arriving prior to 12:00 pm on Thursday will not be permitted to park in EITHER the  Athletes Village location nor Gillin Lot.

 

LOCATIONS

All Trailers and Car Tops will park at the Athletes Village (Three Spirits/Angels), save for the trailers of pre-approved programs that sought and were granted permission to park in the Gillin Lot for 2016.  Programs apply and are given access based on their extensive support in hosting the regatta.  Gillin Lot programs have been electronically issued parking credentials for the Gillin Lot,  and only these crews will be permitted to park in the area.  If you were not issued a parking pass for the Gillin Lot,  you will not be admitted to this limited space and will instead be directed to the Athletes Village (Three Spirits/Angels) location.  Programs with Gillin Lot access are asked to show their parking credentials for the Gillin Lot.

Those programs with Gillin Lot parking are reminded that they too must NOT arrive before 12:00 pm on Thursday. Philadelphia Police will not allow trailers to park in the Gillin Lot prior to this time, given current construction sites for the EPCH.  All trailer parking in the Gillin Lot must be located DOWNRIVER from the EPCH.  Absolutely NO trailers may be parked in the lot between the EPCH and Strawberry Mansion Bridge.  This lot is reserved and needed for Volunteer/Staff Parking only.

 

ACCESS 

No Entry Pass is required for any vehicle on Thursday.  Therefore, all arriving tow vehicles and trailers may access Kelly Drive after 12:00 pm on Thursday and will not require an Entry Pass for their tow vehicle or trailer.

Tow vehicles for trailers may gain re-entry through the Kelly Drive enclosure (without an Entry Pass) after 3 pm on Saturday.

 

PARKING AND ENTRY OF TOW VEHICLES

BOTH LOCATIONS: Entry Passes are not required for any vehicle on Thursday.  Please note that no passenger vehicles nor trailers are permitted to stay overnight on Kelly Drive itself.  Only Permitted Chuckwagons may park overnight.  Entry Passes for all vehicles ARE required on both Friday and Saturday (until 3 pm).   Tow vehicles for trailers must use one of the team-issued Entry Passes if that vehicle is required to access Kelly Drive on Friday and Saturday.

ATHLETES VILLAGE (THREE SPIRITS/ANGELS): Tow vehicles may remain with the trailers, if the vehicle will remain in place throughout the regatta weekend.  Otherwise, tow vehicles will require a team-issued Entry Pass on Friday and Saturday (up to 3 pm).

GILLIN LOT: Tow vehicles are restricted from the Gillin Lot after dropping their trailers. All tow vehicles for Gillin Lot trailers will require a team-issued Entry Pass for Friday and Saturday (up until 3 pm).
